Emerging from the drought with a better business

Wellington, NSW, sheep producers Scott and Anna Brien admit while getting through the current drought has been tough, it’s also been a blessing in disguise.

With a Merino stud, “Bella Lana”, and commercial sheep flock, the Brien’s had used supplementary feeding to finish lambs, prepare ewes for joining or lambing or to maintain condition on stud rams on an ad hoc basis over the years. Doing it better in dry times

Doing Developing a robust drought feeding regime for their sheep enterprise has laid the foundations for central-west NSW producers Rob and Jude Cooke to lift long-term productivity even further.
