Safe storage guidelines

ProAgni have a range of products to meet the nutritional requirements of your livestock. To ensure that you maximise the benefits of using the Protect range of products, we suggest an appropriate level of focus is applied to the storage of our products. This will ensure the best results for your livestock.
 
ProTect – Bag Storage:

• Feed should only be fed to the animal the product has been specifically formulated for
• Do not feed wet, mouldy products to any animal
•  Store all bags off the ground in a dry place out of direct sunlight and away from pests and insects.
•  Store below 30°C.
•  Store in a covered area with natural ventilation
• Best used within 6 months of manufacture date 

ProTect – BULK Bag Storage:

• Feed should only be feed to the animal the product has been specifically formulated for 
• Do not feed wet, mouldy products to any animal
• Store all BULK bags off the ground in a dry place out of direct sunlight and away from pests and insects.
• Store below 30°C.
• Store in a covered area with natural ventilation
• Best used within 6 months of manufacture date

ProTect – SILO Storage:

• Silos should:
  • • have no less than a 60° degree angled (to the Horizontal) cone
    • have the appropriate bottom opening widths and outfeed augers to mitigate build up
    • be compliant to the relevant safety standards
    • be covered to reduce pest infestation
    • be naturally ventilated to reduce variation in temperatures

• Best used within 6 months of manufacture date
