ProAgni has been announced as a top 20 finalist in Grow-NY global food and agriculture competition for our antibiotic-free and methane reducing livestock supplements.
The competition identifies, supports and funds innovative, high-growth food and agriculture start-ups from around the world and engages them in New York’s rapidly-growing start-up ecosystem.
Addressing the key issues of sustainability
ProAgni has developed, trialed and patented advanced antibiotic-free livestock supplements that directly address the key issues of antimicrobial resistance, methane reduction and industry sustainability.
“Consumer demand for cleaner meat is driving transformation in the supply chain from the farm to plate. We are addressing key sustainability issues facing the livestock industry today without increasing production costs” said ProAgni CEO, Lachlan Campbell.
“We’ve made it to the round because we make it easy for producers to meet this market demand now and enable our customers to reduce their impact on the environment, while increasing productivity and improving their bottom line.”
The Pitch
As one of the top 20 finalists, ProAgni will pitch its business plan at the Grow-NY Food and Ag Summit in November 2021 and will be in the running to win a cash prize of up to USD $1 million dollars along with mentorship training, business development, support and tax incentives.
“Reaching the final in this prestigious international competition is an honor and a fantastic opportunity for us to boost our profile in the growing U.S market” Lachlan Campbell adds.
Grow-NY will award a total of $3 million in prize money to seven winners. This includes a USD $1 million top prize, two UDS $500,000 prizes and four USD $250,000 prizes.
