In this competition year, 2,253 applications were received from international AgriFoodTech companies across 85 countries. This highlights the growing global presence of the AgriFoodTech sector, demonstrating its resilience even in uncertain times.

The selection process for the 500 finalist companies was a massive undertaking, revealing a diverse group of applicants addressing various aspects of the food system. The impact generated by these companies is substantial, with 98% of the finalists having raised investments totaling over $9.6 billion.
