$40m in funding, for WA livestock feeders and processors

The WA sheep industry is at a pivotal moment with $40m in new funding on the table, for livestock feeders and processors.

The WA Government has opened the first round of the federal and state funded $40m Supply Chain Capacity Program, offering up to $2m for producers and $5m for processors to build lot-feeding finishing systems and expand domestic capacity. This program is more than a subsidy; it is a structural transformation of the market.

We’re ready to partner with WA livestock producers, feedlot operators, and grain growers who want to align lot feeding infrastructure with commercial high-performance, antibiotic-free livestock supplements designed to deliver feedlot performance.

The window is short, but the opportunity is real.

Why is this important

  1. Now is the chance to invest in pens, feeding systems, and infrastructure that lift productivity with ProAgni commercial supplement ProTect S adding further value.
  2. Smarter grain use: turning grain into premium lamb delivers stronger returns.
  3. Post–live export future: With the trade phasing out, domestic finishing and processing will define who stays ahead.
