Rob is a leader in livestock production, working across extensive and intensive systems. He provides advisory for multi-national animal health companies, international pasture seed businesses, family farming operations and industry peak bodies.
As a consulting agronomist working on broad acre and horticulture crops, Rob gained experience with mixed farming businesses. It was here that he identified the large gap between growing feed for livestock and the utilisation of that feed.
Rob uses his understanding of the interaction between soil, plant, and animal to formulate visionary strategy and process solutions for livestock production.
Rob is a key member our research team and spearheads projects with our collaborators such as CSU, UNE, DAFQ and CSIRO.
Rob has spoken at SMART Beef 2019, been interviewed by ABC Radio, and was invited to be on the panel at University of Wollongong’s, “Antimicrobial Resistance: Tackling one of the world’s top health threats” as part of AMR Awareness week 2021.
Most recently, Rob has been asked to speak on animal nutrition at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga.
