NoABLE™ Lamb Project

Food Agility, ProAgni, and Charles Sturt University are leading efforts to use data-driven decision-making for optimal livestock production. Their project aims to prototype a comprehensive, antimicrobial-free and low emission quality assurance program to enhance producer and processor outcomes while meeting future market expectations.

Key objectives include demonstrating high performance and quality carcass characteristics in lambs raised without antimicrobials compared to conventional methods, and assessing emissions and carbon data to encourage adoption among Australian producers, processors, and consumers.

The end goal for the project is to develop a traceability system for no antimicrobial/low emissions lamb for Australian producers.
