NoABLE™ Beef Project

This initiative aims to contribute to a broader movement toward sustainable agriculture and responsible food production. ProAgni seeks to unite partners across the red meat supply chain who are dedicated to sustainable farming practices.

These practices include setting climate goals for reducing methane emissions, decreasing antibiotic use in beef production, and responding to consumer demands to eliminate antibiotics due to concerns about antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

Challenges addressed include antibiotic dependency for high growth, feed inefficiencies, inability to validate claims, and low adoption rates of solutions due to producer concerns about change, animal health, and costs.

The end goal for the project is to develop a traceability system for no antimicrobial/low emissions beef for producers
